Embassy attestation is the requirement of those countries who are not a part of The Hague convention and hence do not accept Apostille. In order to approach embassies for their attestation, it is required that all the concerned documents are authenticated by the various government organizations in India beforehand. Unfortunately, every country has its own set of requirements for issuing Embassy attestation. Hence it becomes important to take the assistance of experienced partners like ICAA India who know the country-wise specific process to be followed to get the embassy attestation.
The respective embassies essentially ask for previously approved, authenticated and attested documents by the various signatories in India (e.g. Ministry of External Affairs, various state HRD departments etc). Besides these attested documents, the embassy may also ask for other related information like travel permits, work letters, acceptance letter of the education institutes etc. Some of the embassies may even ask for additional documents over and above the ones mentioned here.
Our experience of having dealt with all the embassies gives us the advantage in preparing you to meet all the requirements in advance. The availability of information together and the necessary documents ensures that your application is processed faster by the Embassy and attested documents are in your possession without much hassle.
Some of the countries that insist on Embassy attestation are UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Malaysia, China and a few more.
